Modern large language models trained on a massive amount of available text data make a big difference in how the content can be created

Before we talk about unpack AI and my first project for unpackAI101, let’s first look at what it takes to write a blog.

Everyone wants more out of life. More money, more time, and more content in today’s social media market. It is nearly impossible for companies to stay on top of all of Google’s demands for SEO if they want to rank or be noticed. On the top of that not-so-small list is content, and here’s what you need to do:

1. You need to decide on a hot topic you want to write on.

2. Next, you need slightly different content for different mediums like blog articles, Social Media platforms, emails, etcetera.

3. Now, you must consider your target market and their preferences, what vocabulary to use on what platforms, and the tone of voice or content style you must write in to communicate your message. It needs to be engaging, resourceful, and leave the reader enlightened and wanting more.

4. You can start reading through articles to obtain information to write a quality blog.

5. Remember to consider layout, color, fonts, plagiarism, and just being in the right mood to tackle another blog.

All of this takes up a lot of time, and as we know, time = money, so we need a solution to improve this process.

AI copywriting is somewhat a new but not a foreign concept. In NLP machine learning, we can already predict text, write song lyrics, and enjoy a cup of coffee while having a Q and A with a machine about the latest book you have read. This is all possible using GPT-2. Now in GPT-3, it is possible to write entire articles and social media content in your choice’s style and tone of voice.

Different metrics can be used to determine if the Model was successful, but in this case, the “human factor” is still the final metric. We still need to determine if the content is, indeed, subject orientated as well as meets the standards for the article or blog.

One of the current Copywriting Platforms is Copy.Ai, which is still in its beta phase and receiving positive feedback.

Back to my project, I have chosen this project as part of a more significant project I would like to take on. Even though I’m not solving a new Marketing problem, understanding the different pieces will finally help me build my Marketing Software.
