Let’s review some of the 25 Executive Orders (EOs) of the first two days on the throne from the new High Priest of America, Joe Biden.
Biden apparently considers himself the High Priest of America, if not the world. He wrote in his first EO, “A National Day of Unity,” about being “humbled before God,” taking the “sacred oath of President [sic] of our beloved country.” He referred the Capitol as “the citadel of freedom.” Yes, it is the citadel for those who worship the State as their god. The Cathedral. Biden proclaimed his inauguration day of 1/20/21 the “National Day of Unity,” calling for us to “join together” in American “greatness and of goodness.” Do you feel the togetherness as “we celebrate the triumph of democracy”? Triumphant Joe Biden says we should. Group hugs following our High Priest’s sermon!
Quotes here are all from Biden’s EOs, not my words. Sometimes people say what they mean when one listens. Government is the god to these people. The Capitol is a citadel, a cathedral. The god Joe Biden is humbled before is the one represented by the grandiose granite columns and steps. He is humbled before the power exercised by D.C. This is why they were so upset about the “Trump supporters” who went into the Capitol and took a few odds and sods — they violated the “citadel,” where the “sacred oath” is taken by the High Priest.
Biden honored mob rule, considering 51% (maybe) voting for him to be a “triumph of democracy.” The 49% doesn’t matter, as everyone is in sacred Unity now. Unity means the 49% must bow to the will of the 51%. The 49% must shut up and sit down. That is how Biden’s version of Unity works — not through rational argument, valid points, reason — through force of government.
In “Executive Order on Ensuring an Equitable Pandemic Response and Recovery,” Biden created a “COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force” to end “severe and pervasive health and social inequities.” A new aspect of equity is now equal outcomes in health with the government being responsible. What could go wrong? I wonder how much the program that develops a way for me to get sickle cell anemia will cost — after all, me being white produces health inequity, and this must be combated. Always useful in government programs is an impossible goal, ensuring more and more money each year in pursuit of something that can never be achieved. This is easier than the shifting-the-goal-post method — there is no need to even bother moving the goal!
In Biden’s EO, “Modernizing Regulatory Review,” he will use the OMB to fix “systemic racial inequality; and the undeniable reality and accelerating threat of climate change.” Regulations must be reviewed to ensure promotion of “social welfare, racial justice, environmental stewardship, human dignity, equity,” and more. Wow, so cool to have all that stuff taken care of. Thanks a bunch, Joe!
In “Executive Order on Protecting Public Health and the Environment and Restoring Science to Tackle the Climate Crisis,” Biden ordered every executive department and agency to “review all existing regulations, orders, guidance documents, policies, and any other similar agency actions promulgated, issued, or adopted between January 20, 2017, and January 20, 2021” (Trump’s term). The review is to find anything done by Trump that conflicts with the government’s responsibility to “advance environmental justice” and “to prioritize both environmental justice and the creation of the well-paying union jobs.” Joe Biden: “It is, therefore, the policy of my Administration [sic] to listen to the science.” Note “The Science” is the sacred phrase of the religion of State worship. The Science is the phrase of government “experts” and legacy corporate media, the word of the CDC and WHO. The Science is unrelated to actual science and the scientific method other than sharing letters of the English alphabet. Hence use of “the” in front of science, to distinguish two unrelated fields.
Full disclosure: I am a political science denier. I do not “listen to the science,” as I am not a religious worshipper of the State. I support the scientific method, so cannot abide by The Science.
In “Executive Order on Ensuring a Lawful and Accurate Enumeration and Apportionment Pursuant to the Decennial Census,” Biden ordered the national census to count everyone regardless of the legality of them being in the US, by removing citizenship as a question or requirement. This is “for purposes of congressional representation, without regard to whether its residents are in lawful immigration status.” The 1787 Constitution does say to count the “whole Number of free Persons,” later changed to “whole number of persons” by the 14th Amendment. Sure. Recognize that when the Constitution was written, people sailed for months to get here. Anyone willing to work was welcome, and there was no such thing as welfare or a “social safety net.” People that didn’t make it in the free market died or went back home. Illegal immigration wasn’t a thing back then. But now it is. Biden wants to make sure representation is in place for people who illegally cross the border and fail to obtain resident status after getting here, or remain illegally after being here legally for a limited time. Every vote counts! Illegal aliens need congressman too, according to Biden.
In “Executive Order on Revocation of Certain Executive Orders Concerning Federal Regulation,” Biden revoked six previous EOs from 2017–2019 (Trump’s). Biden ended such atrocities as the Trump EOs named “Reducing Regulation and Controlling Regulatory Costs,” “Increasing Government Accountability […],” and “Promoting the Rule of Law […].” Can’t even pay lip service to the concept of holding government accountable — why, that would violate the sanctity of the “sacred halls” of the Cathedral. Don’t ever question the government.
In “Executive Order on Protecting the Federal Workforce and Requiring Mask-Wearing,” Biden ordered “compliance with CDC guidelines with respect to wearing masks, maintaining physical distance . . . in Federal buildings or on Federal lands.” A few hours later, Biden went to a ceremony with his extended family at the Lincoln Memorial and made a speech. None of them had masks on.
Yes, we know, Joe; your orders are only for the little people. Not for you, your family, or other members of the elite High Priesthood in DC. Or perhaps, in all fairness, I should keep in mind that Joe might not know about the mask order. I shouldn’t have assumed he read it before signing it. This problem could be solved with a policy that Joe has to read every order before he signs it, with a Q&A session with the author in case Joe doesn’t understand what he is ordering.
In “Executive Order On Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government,” Biden ordered “advancing equity for all, including people of color and others who have been historically underserved, marginalized, and adversely affected by persistent poverty and inequality.” Joe’s order claims, “Affirmatively advancing equity, civil rights, racial justice, and equal opportunity is the responsibility of the whole of our Government [sic].” The purpose of this is to use race, sex, and sexual preference as a decision factor in everything the government does. Biden ordered racism and sexism in development of all polices and programs. Want systemic racism and sexism? Make it part of every government action. To be expected from a guy whose top criteria in selecting a VP was to be a black woman. Racist and sexist by definition. Is Kamala Harris proud to be the best person out of 6% of the country Joe restricted his search to?
Your tax dollars at work! There is more, folks, but I can’t take it all in one sitting.
I counted 25 executive orders issued on 1/20 and 1/21. Biden was busy, busy, busy on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday. Can’t wait to see what Friday brings.
See the link for the gory details on the 25 EOs — for those that can stomach it. As a bonus, Biden’s platitude-ridden, content-less inauguration address is linked at the end of the list of executive orders. I’ll save a review of that for another day, perhaps with a comparison of Joe’s and Thomas Jefferson’s inauguration addresses (Jefferson had a somewhat different take on his job than Joe does).
