London wine tasting outlook
If this would be about cricket and not wine tasting, we would now have achieved our first century — 100 wine events listed in a single month. That’s a major milestone for UnscrewMe and we continue to add more and more events in more and more different places in London.
Besides updating events for all the existing places, we have added 4 new wine event organisers and 7 new locations. The main additions this month:
- Unwined in Waterloo
(If you have a good memory, you will notice that we’ve mentioned them before in our Little London Wine Tour November 2018.) - North London Wine School
- East London Wine School
- South London Wine School
In February we had added West London Wine School, so now we have the franchises for North, East, South and West covered.
In the meantime, we keep learning more about wine and enjoy the versatility of wine when we go to tastings or wine dinners.
Continuing with our current theme, we will write a bit more about urban wineries in London in the coming weeks and also add some more winery tours to UnscrewMe.
(During a winery tour at London Cru this week, I had the pleasure to taste a wide range of their wines. I greatly enjoyed the 2015 Gresham St, a concentrated Garnacha with notes of black pepper, made in London from old vines grown in north-east Spain.)
