Once again the San Francisco Unsplash community came together to chat about lenses, sip some coffee, and take photos of tourists. This photo walk began at Blue Bottle Coffee in the gorgeous Ferry Building. The crowd was bustling from the weekly Saturday morning farmer’s market surrounding the building.

After we managed to photograph various booths, bars, and bowls of Humphry Slocombe ice cream, we emerged into daylight to capture the Ferry Building’s exterior and chat with farmers.

We were incredibly fortunate to stumble upon a poet composing prose on an old typewriter. “What would you like the poem to be about?” she asked. “Photography,” I replied without hesitating.

We meandered around the building until we heard live music in the distance. After weaving through aisles of fresh fish, olive oil, and cheese, we found the bearded band.

The edge of the farmer’s market has the best views of the Bay Bridge, but we settled on goofily photographing each other.

Keep an eye out for the next San Francisco photowalk coming soon. 📸 🤳🏽
