Today we’re announcing that we’ve launched a grant program for wallets/exchanges to integrate .zil domains! We’re giving out $250,000 in grants to incentivize companies to integrate .zil domains as soon as possible.

What is the grant program?
The grant program provides money to selected wallets and exchanges to cover costs associated with integrating .zil domains. This program will speed up the process of making .zil standard across the entire crypto ecosystem. Grants typically range from $5,000 to $15,000.
Why is this important for wallets and exchanges?
- Better UX — Blockchain domains improve the UX of cryptocurrency payments. Users no longer need to copy/paste long addresses
- Universal standard — Blockchain domains provide a system that can easily work across any crypto application. The more wallets that support blockchain domains, the more currencies that can be sent to a single domain.
- Good for humanity — The internet that most people have access to is censored. Blockchain domains and the websites they will create have the potential to free much of the planet from censorship.
Who is already involved?
The first round of grantees include:
Equal Tech — A wallet based in Australia that supports, Ethereum, Binance Chain, and more.
Counter Network — An exchange based in Singapore that supports Zilliqa as well as dozens of other currencies.
