That's not a reason I think Robin Williams would have considered. It's the loss of control. Especially for someone so talented and so intelligent. To be faced with something he cannot change. He watched his friend Christopher Reeve face such challenges to live because Chris's mind stayed intact. But to lose mind. To lose control. Is to lose the power of living altogether. I face this kind of future. I don't give into this idea anymore. Because the last power I might have left, is the decision to live.
