Thoughts of an Atypical Writer

A Journal Entry

The other day I attended Medium’s first-ever writing workshop and it was also my first writing workshop ever (excluding writing class back in grade school).

It was refreshing to listen to advice from real writers (that’s my imposter syndrome kicking in) and learn a few new things about writing compelling personal essays that people want to read.

The Unwritten Journal is dedicated to the thoughts that remained unwritten, until now. Just like a real journal, we want this publication to be filled with unique, journal-like entries that tell us a story, no matter what it is. Follow to join our community!
