The other day I attended Medium’s first-ever writing workshop and it was also my first writing workshop ever (excluding writing class back in grade school).

It was refreshing to listen to advice from real writers (that’s my imposter syndrome kicking in) and learn a few new things about writing compelling personal essays that people want to read.
