We have student representatives across all three years who are there to act as your voice on our journalism courses.

Here, you can get to know the level 4 representatives across all three courses. Please get into contact with them if you would like to make suggestions or raise any issues.

Jamie Fensom — course rep for BA Hons Journalism

Contact: up2065512@myport.ac.uk

Hello! I am excited to be in this role and can’t wait to begin attending to some of responsibilities and obligations that it requires.

In my spare time I mostly procrastinate, play video games, study/read, or walk around Portsmouth exploring the many interesting, odd sights like the many antique shops and old pubs.

If you ever have any issues with the course or issues with things going on inside university, I shall gladly lend an ear to your concerns.

Joshua Moynihan — course rep for BA Hons Journalism with Creative Writing

Contact: up2026247@myport.ac.uk

I have always had a passion for both journalism and creative writing, especially poetry and storytelling — having had two poems published so far — and I hope to use this course to become a political journalist in the future.

Please do feel free to come to me if you have any suggestions or questions about this course

Maria Lal — course rep for BA Hons Journalism with Media

Contact: Maria.Lal@myport.ac.uk

Hi! I’m super excited to be part of the student rep team this year. I decided to do journalism and media studies because I love writing and sharing my take on stories that are in the public eye.

In the future I would love to go into publishing or celebrity journalism.

In my free time I like to go out and socialise as well as go to raves.

I’d like to think I’m very approachable and open so if you have any suggestions or want to talk about anything, either track me down or send me an email.

Lilyanna Fennelly is also a rep for Journalism with Media. Contact: up2061122@myport.ac.uk
