Sampaio-Dias and Dennis at Bournemouth University’s Speaker Series

Lecturers Susana Sampaio-Dias and James Dennis were guest speakers at Bournemouth’s Centre for the Study of Journalism Culture and Community (CSJCC) in March and May, respectively.

Susana presented the research recently published in her book, Reporting Human Rights, with Peter Lang.

James explained his research on social media and democratic citizenship with his talk ‘It’s better to light a candle than to fantasise about the sun: social media, political participation and Slacktivism in Britain’.
