You might have heard of Pixate, a really powerful platform that allows you to create beautiful prototypes. Today we’ve integrated Pixate to MaterialUp to make it very easy for you to showcase your Pixate prototypes.

How to submit a Pixate Prototype

This part is just about the same as submitting any other work on MaterialUp. Simply click on the +fab from the main page and choose “inspiration”; you’re now on the submission form. Enter the pixate url of your prototype and upload your preview, as shown below. The preview will be what visitors to the site see on the showcase gallery, before they click on the post to explore the post in full.

Then simply follow the steps and hit ‘Submit’.

How to view a Pixate Prototype

First you’ll need to download the app, from Google Play or from the App Store. Now, to go into and play with a Pixate prototype, click on the post to view the whole post and scan the code you see with your phone, from the Pixate App.

And voilà! It will automatically download the prototype and by now you’re browsing the prototype and not even reading this ;)

What’s the next integration?

Ah, don’t tempt us! Just kidding, you know we’re always working on adding new integrations to make submissions easier; but for now there’s a bunch of them we’ve already added. You’ll find the whole list on our FAQ page.

If you have any suggestion, question or comments, please email us at support@materialup.com.

See you around!
