Back on the Trail

From the outside, Trail must look quiet. The reality is we’ve been super busy. Yeah, we’re all busy, but this time felt different. Here are a couple of highlights from the last 6 months:

New Trailers

The team grows in size and talent. The three sides of the business led by Joe (Commercial) Wil (Product) and Ian (Technical) now have some of the most excellent developers, designers and commercialers (?) you’re likely to meet. Not to mention the 3 babies, who arrived on schedule and on brand.

New identity

We were lucky enough to have Spin help us with our identity, from design through to message. Our existential identity crisis now over, we have a better sense of who we are and what we stand for, which is reflected in the spanking new website. Oh, and Trailsuite.com — the hiking confectionary — has been replaced with Trailapp.com. Finally.

New features

After an initial flurry of releases where the main Trail was created, we’ve been hard at work on strengthening and speeding up the app for everyone. Which isn’t to say there haven’t been features — Data Capture widgets, integrations, Comments and much more have all gone live. But our priority has been delivering a solid, reliable experience every day..

New partners

More and more customers choose Trail to deliver their daily processes, and we have hundreds of productive teams passing through the app every day. Our list of integration partners also grows by the week — we’re just about to send a Hospitality Gem Mystery Diner widget live for Tossed. And then there’s our investors and advisers — some BIG news coming very soon on that front.

So yeah, it’s been busy. But new year, new resolution: Sharing is Caring. Expect to hear much more from all of us.
