This little boy had the last laugh when no-one turned up to his birthday

Teddy Mazzini’s mum gave him the choice of going to Disneyland or throwing his first ever birthday party. He choose the party — but heartbreakingly none of his 32 classmates showed up.

A picture of him sitting alone at the table went viral, and since then he’s been inundated with birthday wishes from the public and celebrities.

When NBA basketball team the Phoenix Suns heard about it, they decided to throw him a party themselves. Happy birthday Teddy! 🎉

Christmas came early in one town for a heartwarming reason

When Keith Burkett’s neighbours found out the terminally ill 12-year-old might not see another Christmas, they decided to celebrate it early.

The residents of Stow in Ohio decorated their homes with fairy lights and Christmas trees, and Santa and The Grinch even made an appearance.

Keith has a rare form of cancer and has been ill since he was five. His mum said the Christmas surprise had left him “smiling from ear to ear”.

“I haven’t seen him smile like that in such a long time.”

A caretaker got a tear-jerking birthday surprise

These schoolchildren learned sign language to sing their deaf caretaker, Mr James, happy birthday.

As he walked into the classroom, they burst into song catching Mr James off guard — but the look on his face is priceless!

Ross from Friends has a beer-stealing doppelganger

One of the funniest stories of the week was ‘The One With The Lookalike’ — that’s David Schwimmer (a.k.a Ross from Friends) who looks just like a bloke accused of stealing a load of beers in Blackpool.

Police put out a CCTV appeal, which prompted Schwimmer to respond with his own footage mimicking the theft and a swift denial.

In case anyone was wondering, police in Blackpool say they have now identified the suspect.

They tweeted: “Could we BE any more overwhelmed with the response to our CCTV appeal after a theft at a restaurant in Blackpool? Most importantly, we’re now satisfied we’ve identified the man in the still & our enquiries are very much continuing. Huge thanks for sharing it with your Friends 👍”

‘Scary Mary’ got into the Halloween spirit

With Halloween just a few days away, here’s one lady who isn’t spooked out by October 31.

In fact, Mary Flynn loves it so much she even got married on Halloween, and every year turns her house in a ghoulish spectacle for all to enjoy.

The best thing is Mary also uses it to help raise money for charities, such as Macmillan Cancer and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Go Mary! 👻
