The public helped a four-year-old boy pay for life-saving cancer treatment

Zac Oliver has a rare form of leukaemia and his family needed to raise £500,000 to pay for treatment in the US.

After an appeal backed by celebrities, including Simon Cowell — who personally donated £50,000 — and a generous £100,000 pledged by an anonymous donor, Zac will soon be on his way.

Good luck Zac, we’ve got everything crossed for you!

A family are helping this homeless man find somewhere to live

When Alexandria Wright and her six-year-old daughter Avaleigh heard about homeless Gavin Green being kicked in the face by a stranger, they were determined to help him in some way.

Gavin, 35, found himself on the streets after having his benefits cut four months ago.

The pair have been bringing him clothes, food and hot water bottles to keep him warm.

Now Alexandria has set up a Go Fund me page to find Gavin somewhere to live before winter sets in.

Persistence paid off for this man who landed his dream job

A man with Down’s Syndrome is living the dream after landing his dream job as an apprentice scaffolder.

Todd Scanlon begged his local firm to take him on — and the 29-year-old is now working for them two days a week, proving good things happen when you don’t give up.

This ‘gramps’ stepped up to help his granddaughter

When 10-year-old Maeve Jones needed help practising her tap dance recital, ‘gramps’ Bill stepped in.

Just watch the adorable video of the pair — Bill is quite nifty for 72!

Some happy news for the royals this week, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they are expecting their first baby.

The couple revealed the news as they touched down for their tour of Australia, and have already received their first presents for their little one — some baby Uggs and a toy kangaroo.

We couldn’t end Feel Good News without sharing this adorable video of little Luke Vincent stealing the show when he went in for hugs with the Duke and Duchess — and even gave Harry a cheeky beard tickle. Major cuteness alert!
