UPEI’s New Moodle Theme

This May, UPEI will be updating its theme. Check out the video below for a quick look:

This theme update will move UPEI to Moodle’s core theme which should make it easier to implement more of Moodle’s new features and fix some some of the issues present in the current theme.

The theme change is part of our standard Moodle spring update and is not a major Moodle upgrade, so instructors will not have to backup and restore courses like they did in the 2017 upgrade.

This theme will give UPEI’s Moodle a consistent look on desktop and mobile devices as well as making Moodle messages more prominent and accessible.

We’ll have more information about the update over the next few weeks.
