The #UpForSchool campaign has launched a powerful new film which follows three young Syrian rappers — the Karbouj brothers, whose family fled from the conflict to Lebanon. The film explores their story and talent for rap music. It illustrates that if they had not been able to return to school, learn how to read and write, they would not have learnt their music and developed their talent.

The video featuring Mohamed, Abdulrahman and Samir calls on the international community to support the Hope for Syria’s Young Talent petition — ensuring one million Syrian refugee children secure an education this year.
