This Friday, August 20th, at 10:00 AM PT, the Staten Island Land Rush will begin! This event will include 3 parts, an Ultra-Rare Scavenger Hunt, Reverse Auctions, and an Ultra-Rare property sale in the Upland store. Each activity will take place throughout the weekend. See below for more details.

Staten Island Land Rush Hunt
This special edition Scavenger Hunt has a unique offering. Players will compete in a race to solve a collection of clues that lead to various locations across Staten Island! Each player that places in the top 10 of this hunt will take home a Historic Richmond Town Ultra-Rare Collection Property! In addition, the top 50 players will also win UPX and Spark rewards, so you definitely won’t want to miss out on this incredible opportunity. Details on registration, rewards, and timelines are below.
Hunt Details
- Registration Start: August 19th, 9:00 AM PT
- Registration End: August 20th, 9:00 AM PT
- Event Start: August 20th, 10:00 AM PT
- Event End: August 22nd, 11:59 PM PT
- Registration Fee: 5,000 UPX
To register, head over to the “treasures” tab in the Upland App, and select the “Staten Island Land Rush Hunt” in the menu. Remember, you’ll need to select Staten Island via the icon in the bottom left to register.
Hunt Rewards
Unlike previous scavenger hunts, the top 50 players will be eligible for rewards! Players will be broken into brackets depending on their placement which will determine their rewards. As always, players will be able to earn back a portion of their registration fee just for completing the hunt.
Staten Island Armory Reverse Auction
The Staten Island Land Rush reverse auctions will feature the Staten Island Armory Landmark alongside 10 additional Historic Richmond Ultra-Rare collection properties.
Staten Island Armory Fun Facts
- Also known as the 51st Cavalry Brigade Armory, the Staten Island Armory was the first National Guard Armory constructed in Staten Island in 1927.
- The Staten Island Armory resembles a medieval fortress with patterned brickwork, stepped brick lintels, a large entrance opening with an arch, and a projecting buttress.
- Designed in the Castellated style, the Staten Island Armory was one of only three armories built statewide in the 1920s.
Price Analysis
Located at 321 MANOR RD in Staten Island, New York, the Staten Island Armory checks in at a gargantuan 8,457 UP2. Historic Richmond Ultra-Rare Sale
In addition to these events, 11 Historic Richmond Ultra-Rare properties, as well as 6 Staten Island terminal station parcels, will be available for purchase in the Upland store. These properties will be broken into 4 tiers based on mint values. Details below.
As a reminder, players are purchasing the UPX required to mint these properties. Once the UPX is purchased, the property will be reserved for the buyer who will be free to mint it after their purchase. Players may occasionally have UPX leftover after the property is minted as the minting price is not always a round number.
