Here’s a quick and easy guide on everything about writing your article for the Rewards program!
Let’s cover the basics first.
Where To Write Your Article
There are loads of places you can write your article, but we have a few recommendations to make life simpler for you:
Publish on Medium.com
This is an amazing option because there are loads of Medium.com readers! Medium is a writing and publishing platform that attracts readers from all over the world, and there’s a lot of Instagram related content lying around on the site.
You can create your account for free and write an article with their easy-to-use editing tools. Really, it’s super simple and doesn’t need much explanation 🤗
To get started, sign up or log in to Medium through your Google or Twitter account. If you have a Twitter account, we definitely recommend using that!
Publish on Buzzfeed
Our second choice, and another great option is Buzzfeed.com.
You’re able to publish your article to the Buzzfeed community for free.
You can register for an account here and get started with your article right away.
Publish on your blog
You can easily publish your article about Upleap on your blog. This is a great option if you already have a decent readership / following.
As an example, Macy Gray wrote an article about top Instagram tools for 2018 pretty recently. Although it wasn’t an entry to our Rewards program, these kind of articles are really awesome because they talk about what Upleap can do to help people grow their Instagram! In this case, she used her own blog that has a few thousand followers.
Writing Doesn’t Have to Be Hard
Let’s keep things simple and explore some of the ways you can write your article!
We want you to have complete control over what you write about Upleap, so we’re not going to tell you what to write word-for-word. Here are a few examples of the topics our Upleappers write about:

There are plenty more things you can write about, but please remember to tie in your topic with Upleap! Like making a video submission, your publication can be a review or educational.

We like your thinking and you’re totally right. Content is always more interesting when you have something other than words to look at.

Quantity Doesn’t Mean Quality
We read every submission equally, regardless of how long they are. Please don’t feel the need to write a long essay about Upleap. On the other hand, please don’t write a 10 sentence article that doesn’t have any substance to it.
As the saying goes, “content is king”, meaning your article should be fun, friendly, and enjoyable to read. If you’ve got some habits about how you’re growing your Instagram, or have any tips for your readers, please share them.
We’re a community that wants to help everyone grow their Instagram, even if they don’t necessarily use Upleap.
