Self Empowering Beliefs

Are you the super hero or the victim in your story?
Do you see how you have 100% control of your world or are others controlling your outcomes?
Statistically, a very small fraction see themselves as “super hero” — because only a tiny fraction recognize their powers. This means mostly we think of ourselves as victims — but we aren’t.
You share biology with Oprah, Jeff Bezos, and Simone Biles.
You breath oxygen like Elon, Huda Kattan, and Ursula Burns. If they are super heroes then so are you.
Many of us grow up being told what success looks like — and most of those “success” stories are designed to make us easier to manage by adults, to reduce their fear of us getting hurt, and to “prepare us for life”.
My teachers and parents couldn’t have predicted PayPal, Amazon, or Uber — so how could they be preparing me for the future? They definitely didn’t know about VC pitches, A/B testing, or freemium business models.
Most of all the adults wanted me to “fit in”.
Fitting In
I’ve learned that fitting in is un-inspiring, boring, and probably a short life.
Wouldn’t you rather change the world, stand out, and live a long and awesome life?
If Richard Branson can do it, why can’t you? Why can’t I??
The Bhagavad Gita says “You are what you believe in. You become that which you believe you can become”. You don’t have to know how to get to the end, but you do need to believe in yourself and you need to get started.
Hack Your Head
Here’s the thing — you can hack your own head. Your beliefs can be empowering and you can be a super hero.
Before you close the tab — this is technology backed by decades of research and repeated clinical success. This mental wellness technology is used today in award winning Silicon Valley hospitals.
Hacking your head will leapfrog your career, catapult your relationships, and even make you physically healthier.
Yes, it’s that good.
Beliefs
The first self empowering belief is that you can do things, you can create change in yourself, and that success is within your reach.
The second self empowering belief is that “fitting in” is highly over-rated. Successful people don’t worry about fitting in. They execute towards success, they find customer pain points, they take risks to fix problems.
After the first two — it’s your turn. Where do you think the limits are? Has anyone surpassed that limit? What empowering beliefs could they have? What self empowering beliefs can you create?
I’m excited to see what you achieve next 🙂
