FPL — GW 26 Preview

13 more games to go!
First and foremost this in my first ever post on UpandUnder so this already holds a place in my heart. I’d like to go on with this tear-jerking intro but to be honest, that home game against the league leaders has got me debating whether to captain Huth this weekend… (wasup Maina) lol
Ok i kid… Obviously that’s the game of the weekend. Whoever wins this is more or less 3 steps closer to winning this title. If Leicester win this, they’ve won the title. I’ve accepted that. Which is why Mahrez should be the first guy on your lineup this week. Alexis hit a hat trick against Ranieri’s soldiers last time out he’d be a good prospect for points this weekend. This game will be full throttle, don’t expect clean sheets but bonus points from the hard workers: Ramsey, Bellerin, Nacho, Alexis from an Arsenal view; Kante, Vardy and Mahrez from the blue half. The more open the game is, the more enticing for Mahrez and Ozil.
Man City v Spurs! That ought to be a cracker. I wouldn’t touch Man City defenders until Kompany is back, apart from their fullbacks… thing with them is that they never play consistently. Silva is a doubt which realistically only leaves you with Kun. I expect a response from City but they aren’t as youthful and energetic as this Spurs outfit. Kane and Delle Alli looking enticing, but if you dont have either, Dembele or Eriksen would suit quite well.
WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR
Guess what? 4 teams don’t play next week! If you’ve brought in a L’pool/City/Newcastle/Everton player, you better have a plan. As much as Firmino is an exciting prospect, no need bringing him in and he wont be playing next GW. Even worse if you have more than 3 players that can’t play next week. Transfer in with those teams in mind. 2FT will be quite ideal going into these next 3 weeks. No unnecessary transfers.
ATTACKERS TO WATCH OUT FOR
Lukaku. This man was meant to be out last GW, I left him on the bench and he ended up getting points. He plays his old team and seemed quite inspired last time out. definitely worth considering. Martial has decided he’s going to go off lately and he’s playing with much more freedom drifting in from wide. His decision making looks to be improving and might be one to consider. Diego Costa. I loathe the man, but he gets points. Nothing more to add. lol

Swansea refuse to concede goals. If you’re expecting anyone to get points against them, you could be disappointed. On the other hand Norwich cannot defend lately… They’ve been poor at it but atm, not looking any solid. Payet and Valencia might be whispering sweet nothings… that may not be entirely nothing. Defending set-pieces is their Achilles heel so Dimitri might be giving us a nice points return. And he just signed a new contract…
Stoke have been on a slump lately and our fellow Gunner (He’ll always be a Gunner to me) Afobe might be licking his chops. They haven’t looked as resilient without Shawcross at the back and never write off the Cherries’ fullbacks. BP magnets! S/O Mr Daniels.
If Liverpool are anything to go by, expect a consistently incosistent perfomance again this weekend. The rule is no Liverpool defenders and no Benteke. Be wise. Aston Villa may not be a push over.
Its about time Ighalo turned up, he’s been very quiet lately, and Watford may exact revenge on Palace who narrowly beat them thanks to a penalty.
One more thing, Jonjo Shelvey…
