UpNote now supports different sorting orders for notebooks and tags
There are many ways to sort your notes in UpNote: by note title, created or updated date. You can even rearrange your notes manually to your preference. UpNote has always strived to make the application flexible to fit your workflow and improve your productivity.
However, many of our users have asked UpNote to make the sorting system even more flexible. For example, when writing a story with many chapters, they want to arrange the notes by title alphabetically so that the chapters appear in order. And when viewing a work project, they want to sort the notes by creation date so that it’s easier to keep track of latest items.
In the latest version of UpNote, you can now apply different sorting order to each notebook or tag, separately from other notebooks. You can now sort your writing project by “Title (A -> Z)” and sort the work project by “Created Date (Newer First).” This feature helps you become more productive when managing multiple projects in UpNote.
You can change the sorting order by clicking the …
button in the top right corner of the note list panel and select Sort notes
. You may also right-click on the notebook/tag from the sidebar and select Sort notes
.
On mobile, you can tap the …
button in the bottom right corner of the note list screen and select Sort notes
.
Then, you can set or change the default or custom sorting order for the notebook or tag.
The sorting order will be synced across all your devices.
We hope this new feature will make UpNote more useful for your work flow. We will continue making improvements to UpNote so that the app can be more widely enjoyed by everyone :)
