UpNote Supports New Sign-In Methods
In the latest version of UpNote, we have added options to “Sign in with Google” and “Sign in with Apple” on all platforms. These new sign-in methods remove the hassle of remembering passwords and make it easier and more secure to sign in to your UpNote account.
You can use these methods when creating an account or accessing an existing one on all platforms.
If you want to use two-factor authentication (2FA) for your UpNote account, we highly recommend using “Sign in with Google” or “Sign in with Apple”. It’s likely that you have already enabled 2FA for these services, and simply using them to sign into UpNote will allow you to enable 2FA for UpNote without configuring anything else.
If you sign in with Apple, you can choose to hide your email and use the new private Apple email for your UpNote account. This is a great feature to improve your data privacy.
Manage Sign-In Methods
For existing users who created an account with email and password, you can add or switch to these new sign-in methods.
You could go to Settings
> My Account
> Manage Sign-In Methods
and connect to your preferred method. You can also disconnect the default login method with email and password so that you can only use the new method on all devices.
For more detail on how to use the new features, please take a look at our help guide.
We believe the new sign-in methods will further protect your account privacy and security. If you have any questions about the sign-in methods please do not hesitate to contact us at support@getupnote.com
