WirePOLITICS: Trump wins presidential straw poll in Bucks
Donald Trump easily won a presidential straw poll conducted by the Bucks County Republican Committee at the Middletown Grange Fair.
In all, there were 3,112 votes. Voting was open to all attendees of the fair, regardless of residency, registration status or party affiliation.
Trump received 778 votes, or 25 percent.
Here are the vote totals of the other candidates: Ben Carson (542), Carly Fiorina (397), Marco Rubio (273), Jeb Bush (227), Chris Christie (191), John Kasich (177), Ted Cruz (122), Rand Paul (101), Scott Walker (100), Mike Huckabee (78), Rick Santorum (68), Rick Perry (22), Bobby Jindal (15), Lindsey Graham (9), Jim Gilmore (6) and George Pataki (6).
