Disclaimer – *THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE*

Many people nowadays often eat foods whilst thinking they’re healthy, but are some of these actually true?

Let’s find out.

Chocolate

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chocolate_bar

Chocolate, a sweet or bitter snack enjoyed across the globe.

The problem is, many milk and white chocolate products contain unbelievably high amounts of added sugar, which can lead to many health problems. Now, if you have milk chocolate every now and again, will it make you become ill? No. But if you have it every day? Yes, it could.

And if you think dark chocolate is okay, you’d still be wrong. Dark chocolate is, undoubtedly, healthier than milk chocolate. But, practically 99.9% of all dark chocolate products have been contaminated with heavy metals like lead and cadmium. Dark chocolate has also been discovered to have rather high amounts of oxalates, a naturally occurring plant defence chemical. But, the problem is, overconsumption of oxalates can potentially lead to mineral depletion, thus causing malnutrition. Also, dark chocolate can be extremely high in caffeine, sometimes almost as much as coffee. So, having it any later than 2pm can affect your sleep. Take it from me, I used to have just little bits of dark chocolate every night, and I couldn’t get to sleep for hours. And then that was when I discovered the culprit. But, if you stick to the correct advice, and limit your dark chocolate intake, it shouldn’t do you any harm.

Legumes

Legumes, like: soybeans, lentils, peas, beans, and chickpeas, are all unhealthy.

Some ‘nutritionists’ may claim that legumes are good for you, but when you do your own research, you find out that they’re actually not.

For example, soybeans have been shown through multiple studies that they significantly lower a man’s testosterone levels.

Whilst other legumes like beans, not only have the effect of nutrient depletion, but also can lead to many digestive and autoimmune conditions like leaky gut. Where the nutrients from food get completely stopped from digesting in the body. Resulting in malnutrition.

And one that’s actually good for you … whole dairy

https://www.thefrozengarden.com/blogs/frozen-garden-blog/unveiling-the-benefits-of-whole-milk

Whole dairy is very calcium-rich and contains healthy nutrients like vitamin K2 and riboflavin, which helps with energy production.

Dairy has been shown through multiple studies to have improved people’s health in a variety of ways: better allergies, improved cardiovascular health, increased bone strength, better neurotransmission. I could go on for ages.

However, ‘dairy’ products like skimmed milk actually have less of the beneficial nutrients that humans need to thrive. The process of skimming quite literally involves the loss of beneficial nutrients, so why would you not want to get whole dairy? And no, there isn’t a single valid study that shows a link between whole diary consumption and a heart attacks. Humans have been drinking milk for millions of years, and only now when we opt for skimmed do we really get the heart problems.
