This village was renowned for its oranges — juicy, sweet, fresh, and ever-captivating. It was a small village overlooking a mountain, where the morning sun made the snow-capped mountains shimmer in the north. The fresh air blowing from the mountains worked a magical spell on these oranges, making them the best among all varieties.

The fame of these oranges spread far and wide, prompting a VIP to schedule a visit to this Shangri-La to taste these oranges firsthand. The news excited the villagers, leading them to go to great lengths to welcome the esteemed guest to their village.

A special program was organized in the town hall, with the stage set and chairs laid out in double file at the back. The VIP guest occupied the central chair, flanked by other dignitaries on his left and right. Villagers keenly observed the event.

After all the formalities, the highlight of the program arrived — the moment when the guest of honor was to be presented with the oranges. Smartly dressed and cheerful children were handpicked for this task, resembling the freshness of the oranges themselves.

A group of five kids, one chosen as the leader, was entrusted with presenting the oranges to the guest. The leader had been rehearsed on the procedure, and the others were to follow his lead. The scene was meticulously planned, with the boys carrying a tray of oranges covered by a handkerchief.

Entering the stage in a single file from a door at the back, the leader made a final check to ensure that everyone followed him without causing any disturbance in front of the guest. The leader, exuding an enchanting demeanor and confidence, missed his step and fell on the stage. The tray hit the ground, and oranges were scattered everywhere.

This unexpected turn of events perplexed the second child, who was following the leader. He was aghast at the strange way of presenting to the guest, but with no time to hesitate, he executed the plan. Since his role was to simply follow the leader, he too fell down like his leader, replaying the scene.

Soon, all the kids fell like dominos, scattering oranges all over the stage. Thus, the villagers presented the oranges to the guest in a unique and unexpected manner. Though the guest seemed a bit confused, he did not complain about the method and finally acknowledged it later.
