When you think of the word “hacker” you might think of some sketchy dude in a hoodie typing lines of code in a darkly lit room, but hacking is typically a lot less intense and can even be relatively easy given you know what you are doing.

The word “hacking” can have many meanings depending on the context of its use, but for this scenario we will say hacking is ‘gaining access to something you are not supposed to see’. Typically WiFi passwords are something you do not want anyone but yourself to know, but there are ways to circumvent this and gain access to a computers stored WiFi passwords.

*Note that all “hacking” should be done ethically and this is for learning purposes only.*

Getting Access to WiFi Passwords

The main stipulation for this to work is: 1- You need physical access to the computer that has the passwords stored on it; and 2- The WiFi password must have already been entered a minimum of once already to be stored in the computers memory. If multiple networks have been connected to the computer then you will gain access to the passwords for every single one of those networks.
