Launching Upslash
We believe that productivity is what enables people to do more, to do better. In a world where we’re constantly rushing between tasks and sharing more and more information — we end up spending a lot of our time on our browser, which is slowly becoming the only app we really need on our computers. Bookmarks have for a long time represented the way people organise the content they visit more often, or content they promise themselves they will read but ends up in a sub-folder that will never be opened.
Upslash was born with the idea that naturally, we tend to type something in our search bar even if the bookmark is just below our cursor. We just type in the beginning of something knowing that suggestions will pop-up and we’ll find what we’re looking for in no-time. But what if it was much easier?How many times we struggled finding that specific slide? How many times we opened the wrong spreadsheet and we end up juggling between dozen of tabs trying to find what we’re looking for? It happens to me every single day!
That’s why we built Upslash.
Upslash improves productivity by helping teams finding and sharing information fast wit easy to remember short links called up/links.
A simple yet powerful solution to help you and your team become much more organised and focused on what matters: finding the right information at the right time. 60% of the tabs we open during the day are the same, they go to the same calendar, inbox, spreadsheet, Jira, Asana, GitHub, Trello or whichever tools are in your stack. Installing Upslash is as easy at creating an account and installing a simple browser extension, and gone are the days where you cannot find what you’re looking for in a second. The principle on which upslash is based is very simple:
1. You choose one of your favourite links
2. You add it to your dashboard and name it however you want
3. When it’s time to open the link, you just type “up” and press send to open the upslash prompt
4. You insert the nickname you gave to your link, press enter and see the magic happen!

As we’ve built Upslash to increase productivity and become the all in one solution for your links, we’ve decided to operate with a user-led public product roadmap where we’ll build new features on the basis of the most upvoted requests on our feedback board. This is a huge step for us, not because we don’t know what we want to build (there will be features released independently from this) but because we believe that to build the best product we can there is no better way than listening to our users.
