Here’s how to annotate your video.

  1. First, create an account on UPTOGOOD.org. Depending on what you prefer, you can sign up as an Individual, Organization or Business!
  2. After producing, filming and uploading your video onto YouTube, go to your Video Manager page:
  1. For the video you’d like to link to your UPTOGOOD campaign to, click the arrow next to the Edit button:
  1. Select Annotations:
  1. Select Add annotation at whatever point in the video you would like to create a link:
  1. Add your customized annotation text in the Note section. You can choose your annotation to take the form of a Speech Bubble, Note, Title, Spotlight or Label. Take the time to play around with whichever annotation style suits you!
  2. Check the Link box at the bottom right of the edit annotation menu.
  1. Select Crowdfunding Project from the drop-down menu:
  1. Enter the URL of your UPTOGOOD impact campaign.

Pro-tip: Youtube recommends that you be sure to enter the full URL, or your links may not work. For example, the formal link for your UPTOGOOD campaign should look something like this: https://www.uptogood.org/saharspeaks

9. Click Publish or Apply Changes!

And, voila! Your campaign video — be it a short film, a documentary, a promo or a clip taken selfie-style on your-iphone — now has the potential to be linked to your page on UPTOGOOD.
