Today we announce the promotion of Lia Cromwell to Partner at our fund!

Lia joined us back in 2017, just as she was making her move to Israel. That move was enough for us to validate her grit and resilience. But truthfully, we joked about her ability to sustain the volume of startup meetings Gil Ben-Artzy was known to hold in a day :). We also cherished her direct and inquisitive nature coupled with hustle and true leadership.

Since joining us, it has been incredible to witness Lia’s growth and her impact on the local tech ecosystem. Over the years, she has engaged with hundreds of startups, initiated some of our most successful investments, and become a trusted partner to many in the Israeli startup community. Her dedication, hard work, and passion have truly entrenched her in the ecosystem, and we’re proud to elevate her to this next step in her career.

Lia stands out for her ability to deeply connect with founders, offering thoughtful guidance and strategic support. She is fearless in her approach, eager to take on new challenges and seize opportunities. These qualities align with what we seek in the founders we back, so it’s no surprise that we saw those same traits reflected in her.
