We are excited to share the news from Codefresh, an UpWest-backed company, that they have raised an $8M Series B.

Codefresh is the first Kubernetes-native continuous integration and delivery platform. Codefresh combines CI/CD, Image Management, and on-demand staging environments to create a complete container delivery toolchain that brings developers and developer operations into a shared platform. The company enables startups and enterprises alike to immediately benefit from microservices and container-based technologies. Unlike legacy solutions, Codefresh pipelines are uniquely designed for cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and Helm — particularly relevant today as Kubernetes adoption continues to skyrocket.

This Series B round brings Codefresh’s total venture financing to $15.1M. M12 (formerly Microsoft Ventures) led the round, with participation from Viola Ventures, Hillsven, and CEIF.

“The meteoric rise of Kubernetes is happening so fast that most toolchains haven’t kept up, and M12 knows it. With this latest round of funding we’re going to aggressively accelerate our roadmap and expand our customer base.” Codefresh Co-Founder & CEO Raziel Tabib said. Since the platform’s general availability in 2017, Codefresh has gained over 20,000 users.

UpWest was Codefresh’s first investor in 2014. When we joined the Codefresh family, the team was just co-founders Raziel Tabib and Oleg Verhovsky — today, Codefresh has grown to over 20 employees in 2 offices. Congratulations to Raziel, Oleg, and the entire Codefresh team! You can read the full press release here, and find Codefresh featured in TechCrunch.
