As we look back at 2020, it’s safe to say this year was a challenging one on multiple fronts. From a global pandemic and social unrest, to economic uncertainty and physical distancing from loved ones — we are all ready and eager for the New Year.
Despite all the challenges, we’re so impressed by and thankful for all of you for stepping up your agility, patience, humility, and resilience. We send our gratitude to the heroes who are in the front lines in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic and to those safeguarding the daily functions of our essential economies.
Here at UpWest, we look back at a year of incredible growth and achievements. Among the many highlights, this year presented us with more opportunities to partner with Israeli founders innovating in critical industries and work with them on envisioning their startup future journey. Our portfolio companies crossed $1.5B in follow-on funding and we celebrated our first Unicorn, SentinelOne, now valued at more than $3B.
