We are excited to hire an Associate to join our office in Tel Aviv. This is a unique opportunity to break into the venture capital industry in Israel while gaining exposure to the US tech ecosystem. As part of this mindset, we also think long-term about our team, and are excited to hire a new Associate in our Tel Aviv office. Though based in Tel Aviv, our Associate will work with our team across offices and spend time in the US to help partner with & support Israeli founders building in the US market.
As part of the investment team, our Associate will:
- Create new and bolster existing deal sourcing strategies
- Support due diligence on potential investments. Work on market sizing, competitive analysis, product/tech evaluation, customer interviews, and investment memos
- Support the fund strategy & operations related to investor updates, new tools evaluation & implementation, portfolio construction, and more
- Represent UpWest in the local Israeli tech ecosystem and build relationships with founders, funds, and other ecosystem players and partners
What you bring to the table:
- A true passion for founders and startups with an inherent interest in technology trends. You’re an early adopter of new technology and you love learning about what’s next
- You are a leader & a self-starter — we’re big believers in autonomy and are looking for someone who thrives on ambiguity and is proactive in thinking of new areas where they can add value

Some more checkboxes:
- 2–4 years of work experience, with at least some of that being at a startup or high growth tech company
- Fluent in English and Hebrew
- Excited (and flexible) to spend time in Silicon Valley
- Prior experience living, studying, or working in the US is a plus but not required
