The Telling True Stories Project was made possible by the generosity of many who gave their time, energy, and enthusiasm.

First off, I’d like to thank Singularity Hub writer Alison E. Berman for agreeing to fly out from San Francisco and co-teach this four-day workshop with me. With just the right mix of candor, good humor, and inquisitiveness, Ali is a remarkably genuine person and a natural teacher. It was a joy to work alongside of her.

I also owe a huge thank you to Jenisha Shrestha, PermaCityLife’s Community Development Coordinator, and to Founder Todd Workman. Jenisha helped organize interviews for us with Jo Brown, Marty Parichand, Elizabeth Dragon, and connect us with Oscar Gala Grano and others.

Oscar Gala Grano generously hosted the Telling True Stories Project in his amazing Take Root Coworking space. Take Root is an beautiful space, and without it, our project would not have been a success.

Greg Stetson volunteered to stop sugaring to swing by Proctor and be our guinea pig interviewee. We really appreciate Greg’s enthusiasm for and willingness to help bridge the Proctor and Franklin communities.

A hearty thank you to our other interviewees, especially Jo, Elizabeth, Marty, and Sarah. We greatly appreciate you taking the time out of your days to share your stories with us.
