Speakers | Jeremy Wallace
Jeremy Wallace is currently an associate professor at Cornell University, and leading lead Cornell’s China’s Cities research group. His research Studies authoritarianism, urbanization, and information, with a focus on Chinese politics. He is the author of “Cities and Stability: Urbanization, Redistribution, and Regime Survival in China”, and numerous articles in various journals, such as British Journal of Political Science, and China Quarterly. His new book, “Seeking Truth and Hiding Facts: Information, Ideology, and Authoritarian Rule in China”，explores how and why authoritarian regimes rule as they do, integrating information, interests, and repression.
