Dynamic Duo from Hollywood Join UREEQA Advisory Board

Michael Sheresky and Ramses IsHak have been business partners for 20 years and have an uncanny ability to seek out opportunities in the creative marketplace. As Partners at United Talent Agency, their roster of clients includes some of the best talent in the entertainment business, and their influence runs deep in Hollywood.

They have also been recognized as a driving force behind some of Hollywood’s most memorable, and some might say unlikely hits; films like Straight Outta Compton and Hidden Figures (starring Octavia Spencer, Taraji P. Henson and Janelle Monáe), that have gone on to great box office success as well as received accolades at the Golden Globes and Academy Awards. A testament to their vision, their clients and their commitment to bringing ideas to life, was even featured in Vanity Fair.

Sheresky and IsHak are quick to point out that their success in Hollywood is only due to the talent they represent — that the key to their success has been in “understanding the goals of our talent, the people who create, and what they need and how to connect them best to an audience”.

It is this passion to champion, protect and help their talent flourish that first brought them to UREEQA.

Creative talent sometimes doesn’t receive the recognition they’ve earned — a problem that IsHak and Sheresky are passionate about — and a passion that they realized, early on, they share with UREEQA CEO Harsch Khandelwal.

About Michael Sheresky
Michael Sheresky is a Partner at United Talent Agency (UTA) and has served as a motion picture talent agent there since June 2009, where he is responsible for structuring projects and deals in the areas of motion picture and television development, production, and distribution. From 1992 until 1995, and then from 1997 until May 2009, Mr. Sheresky held a number of positions at the William Morris Agency, a talent agency, most recently Senior Vice President in its Motion Picture Department. During that time, he represented authors, journalists, screenwriters, directors, producers and actors in the motion picture and television businesses. Mr. Sheresky holds an MBA from Harvard University and a B.A. from Vassar College.

About Ramses IsHak
Ramses IsHak is a Partner in UTA’s Motion Picture Literary Department, where he represents clients across TV, digital, talent and film. Previously, he spent 15 years at the William Morris Agency as a Senior Vice President in their Motion Picture Department.

Ramses was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and attended The University of Southern California, graduating with a degree in Communications and Film Studies. Starting in the William Morris mailroom in 1994, he worked his way up to become an agent two years later in the Motion Picture Literary Department.

Today, Ramses focuses on setting up feature films, television programs, and multi-platform businesses for his many writer, director, actor, and producer clients.
