Dynamic Duo from Hollywood Join UREEQA Advisory Board
Michael Sheresky and Ramses IsHak have been business partners for 20 years and have an uncanny ability to seek out opportunities in the creative marketplace. As Partners at United Talent Agency, their roster of clients includes some of the best talent in the entertainment business, and their influence runs deep in Hollywood.
They have also been recognized as a driving force behind some of Hollywood’s most memorable, and some might say unlikely hits; films like Straight Outta Compton and Hidden Figures (starring Octavia Spencer, Taraji P. Henson and Janelle Monáe), that have gone on to great box office success as well as received accolades at the Golden Globes and Academy Awards. A testament to their vision, their clients and their commitment to bringing ideas to life, was even featured in Vanity Fair.
Sheresky and IsHak are quick to point out that their success in Hollywood is only due to the talent they represent — that the key to their success has been in “understanding the goals of our talent, the people who create, and what they need and how to connect them best to an audience”.
It is this passion to champion, protect and help their talent flourish that first brought them to UREEQA.
“The world of entertainment is going through a revolution; how it’s produced, how it’s distributed, how it’s delivered to audiences and, by extension, how their creative work is recognized”, Sheresky outlined over the phone from his Beverly Hills office. “The world of entertainment is changing and UREEQA is at the forefront by bringing together blockchain technology to protect their creative work”.
Creative talent sometimes doesn’t receive the recognition they’ve earned — a problem that IsHak and Sheresky are passionate about — and a passion that they realized, early on, they share with UREEQA CEO Harsch Khandelwal.
“Harsch is impressive, he’s hardworking and dedicated, and it became clear through our discussions that there are limitless opportunities in leveraging this technology, and the UREEQA platform, to make a difference” IsHak said.
The vision of UREEQA is to solve the problem that talented people in the creative field, or Creators, face every day — ensuring their Rights, Revenue and Works are protected. “Ramses and Michael know how to help the world’s most inspiring people make the world a more inspiring place — and they know the best ways to interact with these inspiring Creators — a skill that will help the UREEQA platform flourish” outlined Khandelwal. “And now, as members of the UREEQA Advisory Board we’re excited to have them help us ensure inspiring Creators, around the world, achieve the recognition they’ve earned”.

The UREEQA platform strives to protect Creators’ work, their rights and their revenue by harnessing the power of blockchain technology.
Established in Canada in 2020, UREEQA will modernize the inefficient and bureaucratic systems currently in place for copyright, patent, industrial design and trademark protection. By building a robust and compelling Package of Proof for source creative work, UREEQA only mints Validated NFTs to represent creative rights. This helps keep buyers safe by giving them confidence that the work they are purchasing was minted by the smart contract approved by the creator of the work and is therefore authentic.
UREEQA provides value and opportunities for its Creators, Validators and Tokenholders via URQA, the token at the heart of the UREEQA ecosystem.
