With the Fall season finally here we not only have the cooler weather to look forward to, but also all our favorite Fall TV shows are back. Also some new shows that are soon to become favorites. With so many good shows out there it is almost impossible to watch all of them, so I’ll highlight some of the ones I am happy to have back, and share some new ones I am really enjoying.

How To Get Away With Murder [HTGAWM] started its third season at the end of last month, and judging from the two episodes that have already aired this season will be just as good as the two before. If you have not watch this show I high advise you to watch it because you will be hooked from the start. It has a ton of diversity, Viola Davis has been praised for her performance as Annalise Keating, and if you like having some eye candy in your shows you won’t be disappointed here! The best part is you get so entangled in the story, and you are constantly trying to figure out what will happen next, or who is going to be the next one to die! If all else fails I know we are all a little curious to see if those who do kill will actual get away with murder.

The Goldbergs, The Middle, and Brooklyn Nine Nine are my favorite sitcoms at the moment. The Middle has yet to come back, but we only have one more week to wait until we can watch the premiere of season 8. I must be honest with you at first I was reluctant to watch The Middle because I thought it was a bad copycat of a past favorite show of mine called Malcolm in the Middle. Boy was I wrong! I am so glad I finally decided to give the show a try, it is funny and genuine; it fills you with hope and leaves you feeling all warm inside as if you just ate 6 freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. I am so ecstatic to watch this show next week and catch up with The Heck family! The Goldbergs didn’t appeal to me at first either, but thankfully it aired after or before The Middle (at this point I don’t remember) and I would catch parts of it. One day I decided to watch a full episode and just fell in love! This show takes place in the 80’s; as opposed to The Middle that takes place in the present. Both shows focus on a family and showcase the parents trying to raise their kids in a very clever and funny way. What I particularly like about The Goldbergs is that the show’s creator made the show reflecting his childhood and even shows his family videos at the end of episodes. Brooklyn Nine Nine is a hilarious comedy that follows Jake Peralta (played by Andy Samberg) and his precinct as they chase bad guys. I know that description doesn’t make it sound appealing but the great Michael Schur created it, and he worked on Parks and Recreation, The Office and Saturday Night Live.

Two different families you will fall in love with this Fall!
Get ready for laughs and laughs with Brooklyn Nine Nine.

These are just a few of the shows I am excited to have back; I am also loving some of the new shows that premiered this Fall. The Exorcist is one of those shows. I watched the first two episodes with encouragement from Chevy and absolutely loved them. The show is scary, like sleep with the lights on under the covers scary, and it is not gory or corny at all. It honors the original movie very well. I am excited to see where this show is heading, and have to praise the incredible performance by Mexican actor Alfonso Herrera. Designated Survivor surprised me because I was not expecting to like it so much. It stars Kiefer Sutherland and as the name suggests it is about the appointed designated survivor of the United States during the State of the Union. I think this show is just starting to pack on the unexpected twists and it has a lot more story to share, so I can’t wait to see what happens!

So what shows are you most excited to see this fall? Do you have any other suggestions on new shows I should check out?
