Wendy’s 4 For 4 meal

Think back to where you get your food habits from. Was it from your parents or guardians, or did you keep the habits you picked up in school? Keeping healthy nutrition habits is difficult. The easy and cheap way is rarely the nutritious one, and the. Yet, having the choice over what food you buy is one thing we can all be thankfully for; or is it?

With the overwhelming time we spend online or watching TV it is a given we are exposed to unhealthy foods, ridiculous diet trends, and the new “it” food item every day. So how much choice do we really have when we buy our own food? Unless you shop at specialty stores most people are left with picking from certain items at the grocery store or eating fast food. We are constantly bombarded with ads to buy the diet pills, or giving in to the new super healthy food, while also being shown ads of “delicious” unhealthy and cheap fast food. So what is it? Are we going to all be skinny and healthy diet pill eating humans while at the same time we are suppose to be eating every fast food’s “4 for 4” meal deals.

I don’t personally think most people willingly choice to be unhealthy. Most people try to follow the general rules of eating plenty of fruits and veggie while getting a decent amount of exercise. So, why is it that there is a vast amount of people who eat unhealthy and fall to the traps set by the media about nutrition? We constantly see these fake nutrition plans and they get imprinted in our minds. I understand why people would feel the need to try extreme diets or cut out all of one food just to have a body that society deems acceptable. Yet, that is the problem. People are doing it for the wrong reasons. Most people don’t change their diet to develop a healthy diet, rather they think they can still eat unhealthy and be thin. Along with the media posts about super foods and diets you see these perfect models advertising the product, and people get a false sense of hope because they think they will look the same.

Ads such as these are all over the media. Don’t fall into the trap. There is a false sense of hope in these image since the woman holding the measuring tape is already think to begin with, why would she need to take these pills. Remember that visiting your doctor is a great and probably the best way to lose weight in a healthy way.

People can go crazy with what they eat just because they heard about it on a TV show or social media post. Yet, they don’t put the research they actually need in order to lead healthy nutritious lives. The best way to know what you body needs and to achieve weight loss goals is to speak with a doctor or a nutritional expert. Don’t fall into the traps you see while scrolling though your Facebook about a new super plant that burns all the fat off in a matter of weeks. Some food that is considered bad for a lot of people can actually benefit from it. The truth is there is no one easy fix for leading healthy lives. It is a lot of work but if you can find something that works for you then it will become easier.
