The proposal to build the Universal Sharing Network (USN) is finally here, and we have completely revamped it based on your feedback.

The biggest change is in the way the USN is now firmly in the driver seat, with the Ethereum Computer (EC) acting as its trusted co-pilot.

There is no doubt the EC deployments will very quickly dwarf the number of full Ethereum nodes out there, especially as they essentially become the ideal Proof of Stake hardware wallet, complete with a Trusted Execution Environment.

This puts the platform in a very good position to help bootstrap and support important sister protocols including Whisper and SWARM/IPFS. I’m also extremely excited about the EC potential as both an entertainment and development platform, paving the way for Web 3 to come into existence.

The code for the Proposal can be found at:

The address of the deployed Proposal is:

Voting will be enabled as soon as the Curators add us to the whitelist, which bring me to my upcoming post: how to vote on these Proposals!
