FIRST!!
FIRST!
But seriously, I’m Benji Miller and I’m super excited to kickoff the Epsilon Class Blog.
We in Epsilon class thought it would be a great idea to start off our blog by giving a little background on who each of us are and why we chose to come to SEP. After that, you can look forward to hearing more from us on what we’re working on and updates on our pledge process!
So-My name name is Benji Miller. I’m from the oh-so-far-away land of Santa Monica, California born and raised. My loves are riding my bike, ping pong, waterskiing, food, movies, ice cream, and most of all good times with friends and family.

I’ve started two business so far. The first was a vending machine business where I used vending machines to sell snacks and sodas at an office downtown. In the second, I used Kickstarter funds to invent a smartphone bike mount/speaker combination. I used to ride my bike to school, so I thought developing a product allowing riders to listen to music, use maps, or talk on the phone without earbuds or taking hands off handlebars could make commutes much more safe and enjoyable.

To me the entrepreneurial spirit is one of people who refuse to conform just because its easy. Entrepreneurs are people who never hesitate to ask, ‘why not?’ and who seek to bring themselves great meaning in all they do. They never settle. I joined SEP because these are the people I want to surround myself with. The energy of entrepreneurs together is not just contagious, it’s exponential. Even only in the first few days of the pledge process, I’ve already seen my fellow pledgees eyes light up at unique ideas and at the opportunity of being a part of something great. It’s that energy that’s made me even more excited than ever to be here.
While I’m at SEP I hope to help foster that entrepreneurial spirit and to find a place at USC I can call home. Till next time!
