Libra was all over the media outlets several days ago. The hype was huge and it’s still strong. Although news about US, EU and other governments’ concerns start to emerge just recently. And, even more important, people also are asking questions, especially after Libra’s White Paper was revealed.

So what’s the big deal? Is it just because Facebook and other “big” guys are behind the project?

Here is our take on it.

There is the following statement in the White paper: “Moving money around globally should be as easy and cost-effective as — and even more safe and secure than — sending a text message or sharing a photo, no matter where you live, what you do, or how much you earn.”

Cool. That’s exactly what USDX Wallet app is doing: we provide instant transfers without banks, borders or fees. And — here is an important detail — this is not just an idea, an MVP or a beta. We’ve launched USDX Wallet app two years ago and now it’s a fully-functional product. A real deal.

Moving on: “Just as people can use their phones to message friends anywhere in the world today, with Libra, the same can be done with money — instantly, securely, and at low cost.” Bingo. With Libra “it can be done”, while with USDX people are already doing it. And there are no fees for P2P transactions. None. Zero.

The closing part of the White Paper talks about plans for the future. Mind you, there is no product yet. “There is much left to do before the target launch in the first half of 2020.” Indeed. So while they are promising and planning, you can try USDX Wallet app.
