Day 12: Got my first customer.

Well, if you want to call it that…

Someone who runs a software development agency reached out and was showing a lot of interest (he found me through this series). He suggested coming on board as a sort of pilot customer.

I sent out an email to him tonight with the offer — hopefully by tomorrow he accepts it and we’ll get to work.

If you haven’t already figured it out, this is a non-paying customer. Sure, a customer that is paying would have been ideal, but this will be a good test to see what Honeybee is capable of, plus if it works out well I’m sure that he would become a paying customer.

EDIT: He just responded now and is eager to get started. We’re going to have a quick on boarding call tomorrow! I’ll update you guys/gals tomorrow (day 13).
