Industry 4.0 - Successful collaborations for FOCUS by Usine IO’s 10 startups
Predictive maintenance via acoustic monitoring, cobotics, augmented reality for operators, data processing via cloud computing and real-time performance analysis are among the technologies used by startups selected by FOCUS, Usine IO’s acceleration program based at StationF.
During the last 4 months, these 10 companies developed and deployed pilots for the program’s 3 industrial partners.
10 industrial pilots launched in 4 months
The majority being in progress, these collaborations are still confidential. However, we are able to share some key facts& figures that underscore the program’s impact on the development of the ten selected:
Jobs: 5 people have joined the startups since starting the program.
Funding: 4 have raised 5M during our collaboration. Some of the fundraising was accomplished as a direct result of the relationships formed through our support. The most recent example being TEEPTRAK, who raised a million euros through XAnge.
Collaborations: 10 pilots were initiated within the various business units of Storengy, Hermès and L’Oréal. Sculpteo & Future Electronics, our 2 technicals partners created strong links with these groups and the startups.
Usine IO is proud to have also created a sense of camaraderie between program stakeholders: startups and large companies as well as partners between them. Peer sharing, trade with technical partners: Sculpteo and Future Electronics… A virtuous approach that serves the hardware ecosystem, a key value of our DNA.
