Land’s End is out now for Samsung Gear VR
Land’s End, our follow up to Monument Valley, was released on November 10. It’s a virtual reality adventure which we custom-designed around the advantages of the new Samsung Gear VR.
Reception has been great! Check out some of our favourite coverage:
- Land’s End is one of the best VR games so far, this is how it was created Polygon
- This is the most beautiful virtual reality game we’ve ever played Tech Insider

To celebrate, we hosted a launch party at the ustwo studio in London, inviting our closest friends, family and industry pals. There were posters, pizza, a pug, and lots of people trying VR for the first time.
For the ustwo games team, this party marked the end of a difficult sixteen month journey. Our primary goal for Land’s End was not sales numbers or commercial success, but to explore the frontier of VR and make a contribution to this new medium.
What’s next for the team? As usual, we want to keep our plans under wraps until the time is right to surprise and delight. We can tell you:
- We’re looking into support for the Galaxy Note 4 version of Gear VR. As much as we’d love everyone with Google Cardboard to be able to play the game, it’s just not possible to ensure the game will run smoothly on the thousands of Cardboard-compatible devices.
- We’ve got some exciting (and cute) things for Monument Valley fans, coming very soon…
- We’re starting work on our next adventure…
