Mark Zuckerberg Was Right
Yesterday, Mark Zuckerberg posted a video on Instagram reviewing the Apple Vision Pro. He claims the Meta Quest 3 is “better for the vast majority of things people use mixed reality for.”
Funny enough, he even takes a jab at “Apple fanboys.”
Alright, let’s get one thing straight: I’m an Apple fanboy. But after reading many reviews and first-hand experiences on Vision Pro and Quest 3, including a 1-hour interview with my friend who bought the Vision Pro, I have to say, Mark Zuckerberg was right.
I expected that Quest would be the better value for most people since it’s really good, and it’s like seven times less expensive, but after using it, I don’t just think that Quest is the better value. I think that Quest is the better product period…

Sure, the Vision Pro boasts a higher resolution screen. But the trade-offs in comfort and ergonomics are significant. Many have complained about it. And for some, it’s the main reason for deciding to return the product. Quest 3 offers a wider field of view, a brighter display, and minimal motion blur, all while weighing a whopping 120 grams less. That makes a world of difference when strapped to your face for extended periods.
