Crypto payments platform UTRUST taps former PayPal and eBay executive Sanja Kon, as VP of Global Partnerships
Sanja Kon, who has managed strategic business partnerships in Europe for PayPal and eBay, has joined UTRUST, a cryptocurrency payment platform, as the VP of Global Partnerships, effective immediately, the company announced.
As the VP of Global Partnerships at UTRUST, Sanja will develop partnerships with key international players to improve the accessibility of digital assets and increase cryptocurrency merchant adoption.
Sanja was most recently Head of Marketplaces and Large Enterprise Partnerships for PayPal in the U.K., which she joined in January 2018. Before PayPal, Sanja worked for eBay in Italy and the U.K., from 2013 until 2017, holding executive positions with increasing responsibility before becoming Head of European Partnerships, based in London.

Sanja started her career in 2008 at 77Agency in Milan, managing the new-media account for client Google. From 2009 to 2010, she was a business development manager at Oliver Wyman, a management consultancy in Milan. In 2010, she joined Vodafone, working her way up to Salesforce Project Manager. Sanja left for eBay in 2013
Sanja is fluent in English, Italian, Croatian and Serbian. She holds a double masters degree from Copenhagen Business School and Bocconi University in Milan.
