Doing charity with the money of tomorrow

They also work directly with charities, helping them diversify their fundraising opportunities and giving them the tools they need for their all important work. Now, as merchants in the Utrust ecosystem, they will have digital currencies on their arsenal as well.

eSolidar’s first crypto project will help the favelas
This project is a crowdfunding drive, geared towards helping people from 10 different Brazilian favelas. It’s a joint effort between eSolidar, G10 Favelas and Canal Transformadores, and its aim is to promote entrepreneurship and the development of 10 of the most underserved neighbourhoods in Brazil: Rocinha (RJ), Rio das Pedras (RJ), Heliópolis (SP), Paraisópolis (SP), Cidade de Deus (AM), Baixadas da Condor (PA), Baixadas da Estrada Nova Jurunas (PA), Casa Amarela (PE), Coroadinho (MA) and Sol Nascente (DF).
The funds raised will be used in two ways:
1- Projects located in the favelas that are part of the G10 will receive 80% of all funds collected, so as to be able to develop their ideas, generating businesses with social impact in their communities.
2- 15% of the funds will be destined to individuals residing in the Paraisópolis Community and who are in a highly vulnerable condition. This will be done through blockchain technology, to ensure that more money circulates in these urban regions, effectively achieving a UBI (Universal Basic Income).
The 5% left will be used for the maintenance and promotion of the campaign and subsequent efforts.
