LM317K is a type of positive adjustable voltage regulator which supplies more than 1.5A of load current. The output voltage in the device can be adjustable between 1.2v to 37v in the range. The main feature is that it has load regulation with the floating operation of high voltage which is a nice one. Current limiting in thermal shutdown with SOA control is the most primary feature of this voltage regulator. All overload protection of circuitry remains fully functional even if the adjustment terminal is disconnected. The output will be short circuit protected.
