Transformerless 12v LED Light effect with 225j Capacitor
Today we are gonna talk about how to make transformerless 12v LED Light effect with 225j Capacitor
What is a Capacitor?
Capacitor is a special kind of electronic device that just hold charge upon giving a proper voltage supply and if a charged capacitor is connected with a wire it starts conducting due to discharging action.
Materials from utsource.net / Components needed for this project
- 225k440v Pf Capacitor
- 1N4007 Diode
- 470K Resistor
- 16V 220uF Capacitor
Circuit diagram of this project
Step Procedure for the entire Project
Step 1: Connect the 470K Resistor with the 225k440v Pf Capacitor in
parallel connection as shown in the below figure.
Step 2: Now make the bridge accordingly with the 4 diodes as shown in the below figure and please maintain the polarity as shown.
Step 3: Now connect another capacitor across the bridge as shown in the below figure again please maintain the proper polarity.
Step 4: Now connect all the LEDs in parallel connection as shown in the below figure and please maintain the polarity of the LEDs with the Previous Capacitor connection.
Step 5: Now connect the 220V wire as shown for the end terminal
purpose of the whole arrangement, and please connect the
wire with the +ve Terminal of the Bridge.
Step 6: Now connect from the 220V Supply across the end terminals and test the whole system, please refer to the figure below for the connection.
Conclusion
So we see that we can make a bridge rectifier very easily in a small DIY Project like this so we can make also other small things like coupled rectifier and all the stuffs also just by proper connection of the Resistors and Capacitors and we can then use our direct 220V Household supply for the small powered electronic devices like LEDs.
