Have you ever thought about how these speakers are able to produce such good quality high frequency signals with minimum source input provided at the input terminals of the electronic circuit. This is all because of Stereo Amplifiers which produce and enhance the low frequency power signals give at the input side to high frequency and there by transmitting the ultimate sound quality to be accepted by the laud speakers.

Today we are going to see how to make a Stereo Amplifier with the help of transistors S8050 and S8550 with USB (Universal Serial Bus) powered automation. So what we are waiting for, let’s get started.

Principle:

The principle of Stereo Amplifier is similar to those normal amplifiers electronic circuits, it receives the audio signal from the source at the input side and processes with certain frequency modulation and then amplifies it with different speakers. This amplification process is done very quickly inside the electronic this is because of high power switching voltage regulation regulation transistors we are going to use that is S8050 and S8550.

The stereo amplifiers can be expensive but you can make your own stereo amplifier at home with effective and cheap electronic components easily available in the market.

Components Required:

  1. utsource S8050 Transistor price(2)
  2. S8550 Transistor (2)
  3. 47k Ohm Resistor (2)
  4. 470uf Capacitor (2)
  5. 4–8 Ohms Speaker
  6. Aux Cable
  7. 5–9v Input Power Supply

Procedure:

connect 47k Ohm resistor across the base of S8050 and emitter S8550 and short circuit the emitter and collector, collector and base terminals of both the transistors as shown in the figure below

Now connect 470uf Capacitor to the base of S8050 and repeat the same circuit with short circuiting and cascading

Take Aux cable and do the connection from the emitter terminal of S8050 and negative terminals polarity of capacitors.

At last connect 4–8 Ohm Speaker to the emitters of the both the transistors and insert USB cable

Now our Stereo Amplifier setup is ready, just connect source input from the input terminals that can be your smartphone, laptop etc.

Get the best quality power amplification clarity sound from your stereo amplifier.

Equivalent Part Number of the Transistors S8050 & S8550:

The equivalent part number of the transistors S8550 and S8050 is BC528, 2N2906, BC527, S8050.

Conclusion:

The stereo amplifier produces good quality power transmission frequency signals with minimum loss and attenuation and transistors used to design and fabricate this circuit helps to increase load regulation and switching characteristics.
