UTU Partners with AMPnet to Increase Trust on Their Crowdinvesting Platform
AMPnet will integrate UTU’s Trust Infrastructure to build trust between investors and projects raising funds using their product.
We are thrilled to announce that we’ll be working with AMPnet to integrate our Trust Infrastructure as a Service (TIaaS) into their blockchain-based crowdinvesting platform!
Overview of AMPnet
AMPnet is a web, iOS, and Android app that allows entities to create crowdinvesting and crowdlending campaigns. The turnkey solution provides all the tools needed — such as payment processing, KYC/AML checks, marketing tools, and more — for organizations to spin up funding campaigns in minutes.
Investors can also use the platform to discover, research, and fund projects of interest.
All activity is logged on the Aeternity blockchain so data cannot be changed or manipulated.
AMPnet is currently working with Greenpeace, WESPA Spaces, and others to run their crowdfunding campaigns.
How UTU and AMPnet will work together
There are two parties involved in an investment — the entity raising funds, and the investor. And both must have a high level of trust in each other.
The fundraising entity must trust that the investor:
- Is who they say they are.
- Has a history of helping companies they’ve invested in.
- Has not acquired investment funds in a criminal or inappropriate manner.
On the other side of the table, investors must trust that the fundraising entity:
- Is a legitimate operation that will use their funds in the intended way.
- Has a strong track record of success in their field.
AMPnet will integrate our TIaaS to develop and display trust scores for both fundraising entities and investors on their platform.
UTU’s artificial intelligence-based algorithms will incorporate past investments, social data, KYC elements, and more to build trust scores for investors.
Company performance, financial data, and other factors will be used to develop trust scores for fundraising entities. Additionally, you’ll be able to see which of your connections have invested in each entity, further building trust with social proof.
