Uulala Booth

The much-anticipated launch of in Mexico came to fruition at one of Mexico’s largest tech conferences Talent Land held in Jalisco, Guadalajara, Mexico. With keynote speakers like Randi Zuckerberg, Garry Kasparov, Paul Zaloom (aka Beakman) and many more well-known names in Technology & Innovation the event attracted over 30,000 innovators, organizations, and top talent from across Mexico and the globe, creating a fantastic opportunity for the team at Uulala to bring our forward-thinking technology to the masses.

Here are our Top 3 highlights from the event:

  1. Engaging the Audience

Our CEO Oscar Garcia shared the main stage and the blockchain stage with a number of influential innovators including Tone Vays consultant and former VP of JP Morgan Chase, Blanca Treviño the President & CEO of Softtek, and Ophelia Pastrana who was listed on Forbes ‘Top 100 most powerful women in Mexico’. He detailed the Uulala vision and educated the attendees on how Blockchain technology allowed the future of banking to be reimagined in his talk — Reimagining the Utility 2.0 — Learning from 1.0 and establishing a better future for Latinos.

The audience response was fantastic with the discussion continuing long after the presentation at the Uulala booth. This was definitely an exciting time for our team as we engaged with thousands of people from the community.

In addition to engaging with the audience at the event our team also had the pleasure of speaking with a number of reporters and influencers who represent international, national, and influencer publications. They helped us share our message beyond the walls of Talent Land and provided great event insights for those who unfortunately were not able to attend in person.

2. Uulala VIP Cocktail Event

On the second day of the 5-day event, the team at Uulala hosted a VIP cocktail evening sponsored by Casa Sauza and Amigos del Mezcal Guadalajara. The event was attended by 500 business leaders, sponsors, and government officials. During this event, we shared the Uulala vision and had the opportunity to discuss collaboration, partnership, and opportunities. The attendees were both inspiring and innovative and we are hopeful that our continued discussions will bring many more partnership opportunities that allow us to better serve our communities.

Much like the partnerships we have developed with the Bermuda Government and Laudato Si that were featured during Oscars presentations.

The Honorable David Burt JP, MP
Eric Harr CEO Laudato Si Challenge

3. Collaborating with the team at Talent Land to Sponsor Blockchain Land

It was a true pleasure to have the opportunity to partner with the team at Talent Land to sponsor Blockchain Land as well as embrace the event as a launching pad for our platform. Our CEO Oscar Garcia had the pleasure of presenting two talks that were live streamed on Talent Land social media as well as the Blockchain Award to the winner Daniel Uribe, CEO and Founder of Geoban, a decentralized digital wallet associated to each DNA Saliva Kit that enables users establish ownership & control of their Genomic data sets using Blockchain to preserve privacy.

The Talent Land teams organizational skills, ability to make the impossible possible, and commitment to their vision was phenomenal making the event a huge success for everyone involved.

Talent land was the largest event that Uulala has had the pleasure of participating in and in the weeks that have followed our team have continued to work hard to ensure that all of the momentum generated at this event continues.

A special thanks goes out to all of the people who visited our booth, attended our talks, interviewed our team and followed up with stories, supported us in the lead up to and throughout the event, and to those who joined us from a distance online. You made this a memorable and successful experience.
